It is impossible to imagine life without the internet; young and old make use of the many possibilities. In recent years, purchases via the internet have increased enormously. Despite this positive development, there is still little consumer confidence to make purchases via the internet. After all, there are still unreliable companies that do not act properly. Qshops quality mark is an independent organization that checks and certifies companies selling at a distance. Belsimpel is affiliated with the Qshops quality mark.
As a result, consumers have more security to make safe purchases from the affiliated companies. They can be recognized by the quality mark shown on the site in question. All Qshops quality mark affiliated companies commit themselves substantively to the terms and conditions and act in accordance with the code of conduct.

Belsimpel collects personal data in various ways. Exactly what data is collected depends on what you do on our website: do you visit the website without placing an order, or do you order something from us? What you order exactly has an influence on this. We are happy to explain what data of yours we process.
Of course, we need to know who you are when you place an order with us. That way, we can help you as best as we can. That is why we ask your gender, date of birth, initials and last name. For the delivery of your order we also need your address. Along with your initials, last name, address details, order number and track & trace code, we will send this to the parcel deliverer.
We will send you updates about your order by email, and sometimes by text message. For this, we need your email address. We will also send you invoices and information about the products you have purchased. After you place your order, we sometimes ask you what you think of us, usually by email and sometimes by phone. With your feedback, we can continue to improve our service!
Paying your order is always done in a secure payment environment. Linking your payment to your order is also done via a secure environment. With a credit card payment, we send your details from our secure payment environment directly to the payment processors.
When you apply for a contract via Belsimpel, we need your identity information to verify who you are. For this, we need an identity document from you. We have made agreements with the Dutch government to process this personal data, so we can prevent identity fraud and detect fraudsters and criminals more quickly.
In our app, you can use our scanner to upload your proof of identity. With this scanner, your passport photo(s), BSN number, and the Machine Readable Zone on the card are blocked by the software. We don’t need this data from you. We process your name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, period of validity of your document, type of identification document, and document number.
If you apply for a contract in one of our shops or don’t use our “No Fuss Contract,” we will ask you for a copy of your bank card. The card number, IBAN number, and name of the bank card holder must be clearly visible to verify that the bank account really belongs to you. This way, we prevent someone else from ordering a contract that is paid for from your account. You may block certain data, as long as the necessary information remains visible.
Did you choose to transfer your phone number to another provider? Then we need the name of your current provider, your phone number, and your connection type. Sometimes, we also need your SIM card number or customer number. This allows us to arrange a number transfer for you.
If you opted for a device bundle that falls under the regulation of the Financial Supervision Act, we will need your data for an income and expenses test. This way, we can be sure that you have chosen a contract that suits your financial situation. The income and expenses test must be carried out in accordance with the Dutch Financial Supervision Act. For this, we process your family composition, net monthly income and living expenses. Under no circumstances you have to send us your pay slip or other proof!
When you buy a product from us, we store its IMEI and EAN number. The IMEI number is a unique code linked to your specific product. The EAN number is a number linked to the type of product you purchased from us. This way, we know for sure that you actually get what you ordered from us.
In case of a contract, we register your SIM card number. This way, we know for sure that you will receive the right SIM card and the right contract will be placed on the right SIM card. In addition, we can always provide the right service, for example if you have requested number transfer.
